Fresh, with nothing hidden.

heyfresh is a fresh-commerce network. We buy from growers in the regions where things grow best, move them through our own hubs, and deliver them — keeping the record of that journey attached to the product the whole way.

Why we exist

Fresh food is sold on adjectives. Everything is premium, everything is farm fresh, and none of it can be checked. By the time produce reaches a shelf it has usually passed through enough hands that nobody can honestly say when it was picked. We thought the more useful thing to sell was the answer to that question.

How we are built

Growers supply named produce into an origin hub. Hubs hold stock, run the cold chain and hand off to riders. Because we operate the hubs rather than buying from a market, the system knows what it has, where it is and how long it has been there — which is what lets a product page state its harvest method and shelf life instead of a slogan. The full journey is here.

Where we buy

We source region by region, choosing places for what they genuinely grow well — altitude, climate and season decide, not proximity to an office. The Nilgiris supply our temperate vegetables, mushrooms and orthodox tea; Coorg supplies coffee. As the network grows, more regions join, and each gets its own page rather than being folded into a generic “local” claim.

Currently sourcing from: the Nilgiris, Coorg.

What we will not say

We do not describe produce as organic, chemical-free or pesticide-free unless that is something we can actually stand behind for that item. We do not claim something was harvested today unless the system knows it was. And when a product will not survive the journey to you in good condition, we would rather say so than sell it.
